Is affording a new model every year a difficult thing for them? Absolutely not! Because people who are rich from within know that they do not need to scream their richness by showing off expensive stuff. They would rather use the money to build more wealth in compounding assets such as real assets or stock trading.
Let's go by a classic example. You have INR 1,00,000 to buy a MacBook Air. Sure you could afford it. Let's admit it, you cannot live in a crappy apartment knowing you can afford a step upgrade, you would make yourself feel vulnerable and it might affect your way of working and productivity. Similarly, you cannot drag your life with a crappy vehicle, if you know you need decent wheels to take you from one point to another without giving up on you. You should consider an upgrade in situations like these. Similarly, you can not stretch much with a decade-old laptop or computer while building something of your own, it does not work like that. You will need a good upgrade for things to work your way.
